WOLO / TERMS
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your access to and use of Wolo, our medical learning and clinical reference platform. By creating an account or using Wolo, you agree to them.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Who we are
Wolo (“Wolo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this platform and the content available through it. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at hello@wolomed.app.
2. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Wolo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Wolo. If you use Wolo on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Wolo. Some features are intended for students and practitioners in the health professions. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@wolomed.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Medical and educational disclaimer
Content on Wolo — including the library, clinical guidance, diagnostic flowcharts, drug information, question banks, and explanations — is provided for education and general reference only. It is prepared with care and, where indicated, reviewed by qualified clinicians, but it:
- is not individualised medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for any specific patient;
- does not create a doctor–patient or other professional relationship;
- may not reflect the most recent guidance, local protocols, or a particular patient’s circumstances;
- must always be checked against primary sources, current treatment guidelines, approved drug labelling, and your own professional judgement before any clinical use.
You are solely responsible for clinical decisions you make. In an emergency, seek immediate help from a qualified professional or local emergency services. Drug doses and guidance should be independently verified against an authoritative source and the relevant national guidelines before administration.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Wolo for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation or professional standard;
- copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute content except as these terms allow;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, interfere with its operation, or circumvent security or usage controls;
- upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, or harmful material, or any patient-identifiable or sensitive personal information;
- misrepresent Wolo content as establishing clinical competence or certification.
6. Your content
Where Wolo lets you create content such as notes, reviews, or feedback, you keep ownership of what you submit. You grant Wolo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to submit it. Do not submit patient information or confidential third-party material.
7. Intellectual property
Wolo and its content, design, software, and trademarks are owned by Wolo or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use Wolo for your own learning and professional reference. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party guidelines and source materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their applicable terms.
8. Free and paid features
Core resources — including the library, clinical guidance, flowcharts, and drug tools — are free to use. Some features may be offered on a paid basis in future. Any paid feature, its price, and its terms will be clearly identified before you commit to it, and creating an account does not require payment details.
9. Third-party services and links
Wolo relies on service providers (for example for hosting, storage, and email) and may link to third-party sites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep Wolo available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update content as medical knowledge and guidelines evolve.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wolo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wolo and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any clinical outcome, loss, or damage arising from reliance on the platform or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Wolo harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your content, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using Wolo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the platform or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you under local law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Wolo develops. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Wolo after a change means you accept the revised terms.
